Caitlin McGugan is a Research Associate with the firm. She graduated summa cum laude from Williams College in 2009 with a B.A. in Economics, Mathematics & Statistics, and East Asian Studies. In her senior year she received the James P. Baxter III Scholarship and was also elected Phi Beta Kappa.

While at Williams, Ms. McGugan was awarded a Linen Summer Grant, which allowed her to spend a summer in China studying at Princeton University's intensive Chinese language program, Princeton in Beijing. During the spring of her junior year she studied abroad in China again, while also completing a research project on the Chinese stock market. In addition, Ms. McGugan interned at the Williams Investment Office, working to manage the college's endowment.
